Ingredients:
- 250g of all-purpose flour
- 100g of unsalted butter
- 75g of granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 100g of chocolate chips
- Pinch of salt
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Baking sheet
- Mixing bowl
- Whisk
- Oven
- Cooling rack
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonful of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on a cooling rack for a few minutes before serving.
