Ingredients:

  • 250g of all-purpose flour
  • 100g of unsalted butter
  • 75g of granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 100g of chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Oven
  • Cooling rack

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonful of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool on a cooling rack for a few minutes before serving.
