Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg of prime rib roast
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of fresh rosemary, chopped
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Oven
- Roasting pan
- Meat thermometer
- Cutting board
- Sharp knife
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (450°F).
- Rub the prime rib roast with olive oil, ensuring it's evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and chopped rosemary. Rub this mixture all over the roast.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan, bone side down.
- Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the roast and place it in the preheated oven.
- Roast for approximately 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 50-52°C (120-125°F) for medium-rare.
- Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
